We Remember December 28th.

It has been 3 years since the disappearance of Phylicia Simone Barnes, and today we remember her.  December 28th 2010 was the day that she disappeared without a trace.  Many gathered together today at the last place that Phylicia Barnes was seen or heard from on this day 3 years ago. There were members of Phylicia’s family, local churches, and members of the Baltimore Chapter of the Guardian Angels who came together this afternoon at 1pm to honor her memory with the uplifting of prayers and a release of 20 balloons to symbolize the age Phylicia would turn in January. There were many reflections of this day 3 years ago

and the days and months that followed which changed many lives forever. Phylicia Barnes’ story continues to have a great impact on the community which is shown through the continued support of local community members.

Phylicia may be gone however, she has never left the hearts or thoughts of those who love her and those who have been touched by her story.

Phylicia’s family thanks everyone for their continued prayers and support. They are encouraged by the continued support of the members of the community, churches and other organizations. Although there was a set back during the trial at the beginning of this year, Phylicia’s family is sure that Phylicia will get the justice that she deserves and they will continue to do all that they can to make sure that justice is served!
