PSB News Vol. X-Update

We are very very proud to announce that The Phylicia Simone Barnes Foundation, Inc., is officially a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization!! We were awarded our status on July 25th, 2012 just 5 weeks after submission of our application to the IRS! We are estatic! This news brings us closer and closer to accomplishing our goals and fullfiling our mission.

Phylicia’s life, spirit and story, has touched so many people since December 28th 2010. The PSB Foundation was established in August 2011 in honor of Phylicia Simone Barnes to carry on her memory and her ability to change lives. Through losing Phylicia so many people have come together, family, friends and even those who did not know Phylicia personally to raise awareness and push for change, not only for Phylicia but for all missing persons.

Our mission is to raise awareness of cases of missing children and to help those children and others to succeed in life, leading paths of excellence, happiness and fulfillment.

We would like to thank everyone who helped us to accomplish this goal. Thank you to the fundraiser participants, whether your were a customer or a salesperson, or an organizer we thank you! To our board members, staff and volunteers, all of your hard work was a huge role in receiving this achievement. We could not have accomplished this goal without the help and support from all of you.
